Pattern Matching 是一種用於在圖像中定位指定模式的技術。它可用於確定捕獲的圖像中是否存在指定特徵，例如工廠生產線中缺陷產品上的預期標籤或元件的指定尺寸。它與 “Pattern Recognition” 的不同之處在於 “Pattern Recognition” （它根據更大的相關樣本集合識別一般模式），因為它具體指示我們正在尋找什麼，然後告訴我們預期的模式是否存在。
